The Intersectz Discovery Pages

Welcome!

This webpage is dedicated to finding out more about a game called 'Intersectz'.

(Yes, that title is a Petscop reference) You know how YouTube sometimes recommends you some random, barely-watched upload by a channel with less than 10 subscribers? I first learned of the existence of the game Intersectz through one of those videos. It was named something generic and sat at a modest 6 views total, but the thumbnail is what piqued my curiosity. It showed a colorful, 3D rendered environment of a laboratory, but the POV was distorted to make it look enormous, or like the viewer was the size of an ant. Now, me being a collector of CD-ROMS, particularly those of the yoinky-sploinky variety (check out my e-zine 'Optical Archive' on just that here), I'm always on the lookout for weird and obscure titles, so naturally I had to see what's up.

Going through the video, the particular things about the gameplay and visuals really stood out to me. From what I could tell the game did not seem finished, or at least it looks as if there was something missing. It all struck me as very odd and a perfect little creepypasta-esque mystery to spend an afternoon on, so I eagerly started doing research only to immediately be hit with a dead end. There's no information on this game at all, apart from these gameplay uploads. Unfortunately though, soon after I watched that initial video the whole channel that uploaded it was set to private.

Lucky for me I had saved that first video to a personal playlist, so I quickly downloaded it for safekeeping. This video is actually the fourth that was uploaded to the channel, as evident by its title, "Exploration #4". You can find a link to it under the "Uncovered Videos" tab.

That leaves us with only one video though, which sucks as I distinctly remember at least half a dozen more being uploaded to the channel. I watched some of these videos at the time, and I've written down what I could remember of them in the Uncovered Videos tab, though it's not much to go off...

So that's where you come in! If you're equally interested in this little mystery as I am, I'd love some help in finding out more about this thing. I'll update this page with any new information gathered, so if you have any leads please don't hesitate to message me at lolo@alienheadshitkid.neocities.org
